ormer Assistant Attorney General for the state of New York, Leslie Neustadt discuss the importance of creative writing. Learn why sharing personal stories is vital for humanity. Inspired to write about her personal experiences as a woman, a cancer survivor, and mother is what she writes about in her poems and essays. Her work has been published in a variety of publications (see her website) bringing awareness to Jewish traditions, social issues, and personal enlightenment. After retiring from law, Leslie began creative writing and joined a Peer Support Group within the IWWG. Leslie has served as President of the IWWG, and is currently a board member. During the pandemic, she was instrumental in creating Free Writes on zoom with the IWWG, which became a silver lining for Angela, as well as many others worldwide.
