If you’re new, right now as a church we’re studying through the gospel of Matthew. We’ve been taking it one section at a time, and that’s brought us to the section we’re covering today, which is Matthew 21 vv.18-22 and I’ve entitled my sermon today: But Only Leaves. New Day Church is dedicated to fulfilling the core mission of Jesus based on Matthew 28 vv.19-20. The three essential steps in this mission are making disciples, marking them through water baptism, and maturing them in their faith. Making disciples involves sharing the message of Jesus and guiding others to accept Him as their Savior. Once individuals decide to follow Jesus, they publicly demonstrate their commitment through water baptism. The next focus is on nurturing and developing their faith by teaching God's Word through Sunday teachings and engaging in small group discussions, fostering deeper understanding and support from fellow believers.
